1. Contents of the On-line Presentation

Accordingly, the Author herewith expressly distances themselves from any contents in the linked or indicated pages that were changed after the moment of establishing the link. The above holds for any and all links and indications both within the own internet presentation and established by visitors in any guestbooks, discussion groups, and mailing lists proposed by the Author.

3. Copyright and Brandnames

   The Author endeavours to respect in all publications the copyright for the graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts used and to publish graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts of his own making or to use graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts available free of licensing.
   All brandnames and trademarks mentioned in the internet presentation and potentially protected by third parties are so without limitation under the provisions of the applicable laws and rules in matters of branding and ownership for their respective owners. The mere mention made of them must not lead to drawing the conclusion that they are not protected by third parties' rights.
   The copyright for published objects that were designed by the Author remains exclusively with the Author of the pages. No reproduction or use of such graphics, audio documents, video sequences, and texts is permitted in other electronic or printed publications without the express prior written consent from the Author.

4. Data Protection and Privacy

   O.M.I.S.A. S.r.l. takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data as confidential and in compliance with the provisions in the laws and rules on data protection and with our Privacy Policy.
   As a general rule, providing personal data is not required for being able to use our website. Inasmuch as personal data (such as name, address, e-mail address) are requested in our on-line presentation, such requests are made, as far as at all possible, to be answered in all cases on a voluntary basis. The data thus requested will in no event be made available to third parties without the user's prior consent
   We point out that communication over the internet (e.g., when sending e-mails) may present security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of the data against access by third parties is impossible in this context.

5. Cookies

   Parts of this on-line presentation use so-called cookies. Cookies do not harm a user's computer and do not contain nor are viruses. Cookies are used to make our offering more user-friendly, more efficient, and safer. Cookies are small text files stored on the user's computer and saved to it by the used browser.
   Most of the cookies we use are so-called session cookies automatically deleted after the session, i.e., the user's visit to our website. Other cookies will continue to be stored on the user's terminal device until they delete them. The cookies enable us to recognize the user's browser when they visit our website for the next time.

6. Server Log Files

   The on-line presentation publisher automatically establishes and stores information in the form of so-called server log files, which the user's browser provides automatically. It includes:

   • Operating system used
   • Referrer URL
   • Host name of the requesting computer
   • Time of day of the request to the server
   These data cannot be traced or tracked to a particular person. No matching of these data with other data from other sources will be performed. We reserve the right to check these data subsequent to their establishment in cases where clear evidence becomes available to us for an unlawful use.

    

7. Newsletter-related Data

   If the user desires to subscribe to the newsletter proposed in the on-line presentation, we require of the user an e-mail address as well as information enabling us to verify that the requesting user is the regular holder of the provided e-mail address and that they accept receiving the newsletter. No other data will be requested in this context. We will use these data exclusively for sending the requested information and will not make it available to third parties.
   The user may cancel their consent to have the data and their e-mail address stored and used for sending the newsletter at any time, for instance by using the Unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter itself.
